Zinedine Zidane insists it was his decision to leave Real Madrid.

Zizou also says he did not fall out with Real coach Jose Mourinho during his time at the club.

"I learned what a great club Real was from inside. I believe that my passion is the day-to-day on the field and so I decided to return to France.

"I have no problem with Mourinho. Instead, I learned a lot from him," Zidane told Sport360.
