Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has shrugged off suggestions that Gareth Bale could soon be on his way to Real Madrid.
The Spurs star was lauded as the 'best player in Europe' by Real sporting director Zinedine Zidane after he took out the PFA Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year double, with some suggesting he could be on his way to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, but Villas-Boas was quick to play down the comments.
"It's fine, I have no problems with it," he said. "In the end it's great for a player of Zidane's dimension to be speaking about Gareth.
"It's good to have that public recognition from someone who has reached the biggest heights of the game."
