CSKA Moscow wing-back Yuri Zhirkov is going cold on the idea of joining Chelsea.

Zhirkov was believed to be on his way to Stamford Bridge in a £15million move bankrolled by Blues owner and fellow Russian Roman Abramovich.

But Zhirkov, 25, said: "Several weeks have gone since those rumours came out and I'm still at CSKA.

"My team is Barcelona and that is where I want to play. I have been a Barcelona fan since I was very young and they have a great team."
