Zenit St Petersburg star Andrei Arshavin wants a January move to the Premiership.

The Russia international is a target for Tottenham and Newcastle United and told the Mirror: "Of course I would like to play in England.

"In Russia as well as England they are talking about Newcastle being interested in me but nobody has said anything to me and there has been no concrete offer. In principle if they made an offer I would be interested."
