Zenit St Petersburg are chasing Liverpool fullback Andrea Dossena.

The Daily Mail says Zenit have joined the race for Dossena and value the Italy left back at about £2million - £5m less than Rafa Benitez paid Udinese for him 18 months ago.

Dossena has made it clear he wants to leave Liverpool after finding opportunities hard to come by in the run up to next summer's World Cup.

Napoli and Juventus are keen on a loan deal, while Atletico Madrid have also been linked with the 28-year-old.
