Zenit St Petersburg are chasing AS Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
Mediaset says Zenit coach Luciano Spalletti is planning to go to his old club for Pjanic this summer.
Zenit are in the market for a creative midfielder and have also made contact with Spartak Moscow winger Aiden McGeady, who is also a target for Everton.
