Zenit Saint Petersburg are showing significant interest in Radamel Falcao.

Reports in Russia's Sports Daily suggest that Andre Villas-Boas wants the Colombian striker who could be offloaded by Monaco.

Chelsea are being linked with Falcao, who had a below-par stint at Manchester United last season, but Villas-Boas is eager to reunite with his former FC Porto star.

Falcao scored 38 goals in 42 appearances for the Portuguese giants in 2010/11 as he and Villas-Boas guided them to the Europa League title in a treble-winning season.
