Zenit St Petersburg coach Luciano Spalletti has acknowledged his admiration of Arsenal midfielder Andrey Arshavin, but confirmed he does not have any plans to try to re-sign the 30-year-old. The Russia international left Zenit for the Gunners in 2009, but is reportedly unsettled at Emirates Stadium due to being in and out of Arsene Wenger's side.
Spalletti told Russian website SPB: "Arshavin - he's a very strong footballer. If we need a player of his qualities then we'll try to sign him.
"But at the moment we don't have such a need."
