Zenit St Petersburg boss Luciano Spalletti regards AC Milan as the equal of world champs Barcelona.

Barcelona were crowned world champions on Sunday to underline their strength, but Spalletti has faith in the Rossoneri.

"I like Barcelona, but Milan are good," the former Udinese and Roma tactician told Minuti di Recupero.

"Milan are the strongest side in the Italian championship and they are the prime candidates to win the Scudetto again.

"In my opinion, Milan are one of the few sides around who can challenge Barcelona right now."
