Zenit St Petersburg coach Luciano Spalletti has ruled out moving for Arsenal midfielder Andrey Arshavin.

Arshavin has been linked with a return to Zenit this season.

But Spalletti told SPB: "Arshavin - he's a very strong footballer. If we need a player of his qualities then we'll try to sign him.

"But at the moment we don't have such a need."
