Zenit St Petersburg coach Luciano Spalletti has dismissed talk of a move to Fiorentina.

Spalletti was spotted in Italy this week, fuelling reports he is set to replace Sinisa Mihajlovic at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

"I am in Florence for other reasons linked with a publicity tour and not for talks with Fiorentina," he insisted.

"I am happy at Zenit and will not be leaving Russia. As for Fiorentina, Mihajlovic is a good Coach and I take this opportunity to urge everyone to leave him to get on with his work.

"After all, he has had to face quite a few problems this season."
