Zenit St Petersburg coach Luciano Spalletti has admitted interest in Inter Milan midfielder Thiago Motta.

There are other reports suggesting that Zenit would like to make a bid for Motta.

"He is in the interests of the club.

"But it would be premature to say he will sign for us, as Thiago Motta still has a contract and Inter will only release him for a consistent sum," a Zenit source was quoted as saying in Tvoi Dien.
