Zenit St Petersburg say they have dropped talks with Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu.
On the Russian club's website, a statement declared: "Zenit want to deny the news about the negotiations for the transfer of Romanian Adrian Mutu.
"The player is not interested in Zenit. The club, therefore, does not conduct any negotiations about his purchase."
