Sampdoria coach Walter Zenga says they'll be better for their Europa League thrashing by Vojvodina.

Vojvodina thumped Samp 4-0 tonight in the first-leg of their qualifier.

“We got a real beating today and it will do us good, as we are forced to reflect on what happened," said Zenga.

“In my view the first 10 minutes of each half completely transformed the game. We had some chances to equalise with four or five positive situations.

“However, when we got back on the field, instead of showing patience we gave the third goal away on the counter-attack. At that point, the situation got heavy."
