Bolo Zenden won't sign for Blackburn Rovers on the cheap.

He is currently a free agent, but with other teams interested in him, Zenden is waiting to secure the best deal he can.

Rovers are hoping to secure the 35-year-old's services, but the ex-Chelsea, Middlesbrough, Liverpool and Sunderland winger is holding firm.

"Blackburn have made me an offer, but we have not yet reached agreement," Zenden said.

"Their interest is very serious.

"They are in a bad predicament and they need experienced players due to their league position - but that is the same situation for other teams interested in me."
