AS Roma coach Zdenek Zeman is upbeat about the team's future after crisis talks yesterday.
Zeman went into the meeting with a cloud hanging over him after comments made by sports director Walter Sabatini.
"I wanted to send a signal," explained Zeman on Sky Sport Italia this evening.
"What I did on Saturday was ask for support. I will train at my best."
Sabatini spoke to Roma Channel and revealed the reason for these talks.
"A doubt had arisen in our minds after his statements on Saturday and we wanted to resolve it. The doubt was whether he wanted to continue with this team.
"I speak clearly, we all deepened the talks and are totally satisfied. We are ready to fight our battles together."
