Zdenek Zeman felt AS Roma lacked unity during his time in charge.

Zeman barely lasted half a season as coach at Roma.

"We lacked the unity of a purpose on and off the pitch," he explained.

"That compactness which is the daughter of discipline, the rules to follow, the spirit of sacrifice, the desire to always apply yourself and the belief in what you are doing.

"I was working for the future."
