Zelic chasing more silverware in Georgia with Dinamo Tbilisi

The Australia international has helped Dinamo establish a healthy lead at the top of the table and as he prepares for the second-half of the season to kickoff, the midfielder told tribalfootball.com from their Turkey-based training camp: "We are first at the moment, so everyone is and should be happy that we've won so many games - but we've also played some entertaining football at the same time.

"Expectation is always high with this club, Dinamo won a European Cup in the early '80's and was also one of the biggest clubs in the former Soviet Union, so the expectation is there every season to win something.

"We've set ourselves the goal of winning the League and the Cup of which we're in the quarter finals but obviously there is still a lot of work to do." "It's been a great experience playing and living here, a real adventure, the league is of a very good standard with a lot of technically gifted players which results in most of the teams trying to play fast, attractive combination football.

"Russia is far and away financially the strongest followed by Ukraine - with clubs like Dinamo Kiev and Shakhtar Donetsk capable of splashing out a bit of money. In terms of spending power, Georgia at the moment are a distant third.

"Russian clubs with the support of oil and gas companies can and have paid transfer fees in the 20 million dollar region, so that basically say's it all."
