The defender was full of praise for matchwinner Christian Benteke.
"I have not been part of a game with a comeback like that," said Fryers to the Croydon Advertiser.
"When they went 1-0 and 2-0 up, I don't think it was a true reflection of the game because I thought we dominated it.
"It was unfortunate with the goals we conceded, it's never good to do that but I felt we were controlling the game most of the time and I think we deserved the win.
"Jermain Defoe is deadly, we know what he's about, but we deserved to come away with the three points in the end.
"Christian Benteke, what a player. He's got everything. He's going to get us a fair few goals this season if he keeps doing what he's doing."
