Atletico Madrid defender Ze Castro is delighted to have fought his way into coach Javier Aguirre's first team this season.

The Portugal U21 international played in Atletico's defeat at Barcelona last week and told AS: "I am with Atletico to help. The day that I feel that I cannot help, I will leave.

"I am in a phase of my career when I need games to improve. I think that I am working well and helping the team, that is most important.

"The truth is that to play in the Nou Camp was different, because in my opinion Barcelona is the best club in the world and the one that plays the best football. For me it was very good."
