Real Zaragoza midfielder Pablo Aimar has struck terms with Benfica.
Benfica's new Spanish coach Quique Sanchez Flores has moved quickly for the Argentina international ahead of a host of European rivals.
Aimar has agreed to a three-year contract, though Benfica still need to settle on a fee with relegated Zaragoza.
