Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is making Real Zaragoza striker Diego Milito his top target for the summer market.

Milito, 28 today, would cost around £15million and that is well within the Reds' budget.

Benitez had been linked with a move for Villarreal's former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan.

Yet the Kop boss is now unlikely to follow up his initial interest for the Uruguayan star.

Milito has hit 22 goals in 35 club games this season, while his five goals in 10 internationals are further proof he can cut it at the highest level.
