Udinese defender Cristian Zapata is staying with the Serie A club.

"I'm not surprised that Zapata is of interest to big clubs like Milan, but Udinese's stance on the issue is clear," said Andrea D'Amico.

"The club consider him as a jewel in this squad and they have no intention of depriving themselves of his services for the time being.

"I can also state that I am unaware of any negotiations going on for him or even of any concrete contact between clubs."
