AS Roma chief Italo Zanzi admits they're going for the Scudetto this season.
The Giallorossi set a new club record of 85 points, but still finished well behind Scudetto winners Juventus.
"Last season we finished second in Serie A, but this year we want to improve on second," Zanzi told the Corriere dello Sport newspaper.
"We will be competitive in Italy and in Europe. Rudi Garcia is very satisfied with our pre-season training, as we've created the foundations for the new campaign.
"We can reach the opening match in good shape, I am confident. I saw many fans following us too and we know how fantastic the Roma supporters are. It's very important for us to feel their passion."
