Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini insists he's sunk his fortune into the club.
Zamparini made a shock claim that he is broke: "If they give me 100m I'll sell the club tomorrow."
"I was very rich indeed, as many years ago I sold everything to the French for millions," Zamparini told Radio 24.
"I invested them and now I have nothing in liquid funds. Zero. I haven't got a euro in the bank. I have many businesses, but they have all been signed over to my children.
"I am still negotiating with Arabian businessmen and if they give me 100m then I'll sell the club tomorrow morning.
"So far I have spent 90m on Palermo, so would at least like to have something back on my investment."
