Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is confident of wrapping up the signing of Fabio Liverani.

Liverani is off contract from Fiorentina and despite rival interest from Napoli, Zamparini said: "For Liverani and Palermo there is no problem, I believe that this is just wrong timing, agreements with the player have already been achieved.

"I am delighted to have brought Fabio to the Rosanero."
