Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini does not expect to lose fullback Mattia Cassani.

The Sicilians seem ready to keep hold of Cassani, who had been linked with Lazio.

"If Lazio signed Abdoulay Konko, then it means they no longer want Cassani," said Zamparini.

"That's fine with me, considering he'll be crucial in Stefano Pioli's 3-4-3 system."
