Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini admits his coach sackings is costing the club.
New arrival Gian Piero Gasperini makes his debut for the Sicilians against Atalanta today.
“If I thought about the money I’ve spent on Coaches, I’d feel like shooting myself,” Zamparini told Tuttosport.
“It must be more than €10m, as I’ve been firing people for 25 years. What really hurts me is that a factory worker won’t earn €1m in his entire life, so we ought to give much less to Coaches.
“The wages should be a maximum of €100,000. It’s ridiculous that working as a Coach for three years means you never have to work again.”
