QPR veteran Bobby Zamora says Charlie Austin deserves an England call.

Zamora believes the 15-goal striker must be selected to face Lithuania and Italy.

He told the Daily Star: "I've got my fingers crossed he can get in that England squad. I can't say enough about him.

"He's been the top-scoring English player in the Premier League for most of the season.

"He's got the lot. He scores all sorts of goals, not just long-distance ones but tap-ins, headers. You name it. And he puts a shift in.

"It would be a shame if he is overlooked. Those things can happen when you're not one of the big clubs. But it's a no-brainer for me."
