AC Milan fullback Gianluca Zambrotta says all is not lost after last night's defeat to Parma.

With Inter Milan and Roma facing eachother this weekend, Zambrotta insists the Rossoneri can still make ground on the leaders.

"It was a difficult match against a team that was in form, but we tried, and it did not go our way," Zambrotta told ACMilan.com. "We are still ready to fight, as there is still a long way to go in the campaign, and many more possibilities.

"The defeat does not serve us, but with Inter and Roma playing one another, we play at home and have the opportunity to take some points.

"The season is long, and at the end of every season, there are always some surprises. Lately, we have not been finding avenues to goal, and we shall evaluate this aspect with the coach."
