Gianluca Zambrotta insists only luck was against AC Milan in last night's dismal Champions League defeat to FC Zurich.

The Milan fullback said: "It's not just the upright that will stick with us, but rather the numerous chances we had in the second half.

"We poured forward and gave our heart and soul to the very end, trying not just to equalise but also to win.

"At the moment things aren't going our way and we hope this period will soon pass."
