Gianluca Zambrotta has defended Barcelona teammate Ronaldinho over reports of his partying during the week.

The Italy international fullback said: "I do not see anything wrong with going out 48 hours before a game. We're all adults and have our own responsibilities. He can go out if he wants, it's just how you behave when you're out which matters. If you drink and play up, then that's not on, but there's nothing wrong with having the odd drink."

He added: "I don't want to talk about what one player or another gets up to. Everyone has a right to a private life."
