Former AC Milan fullback Gianluca Zambrotta has backed Pippo Inzaghi for the coaching job.

Inzaghi and ex-Milan teammate Clarence Seedorf have both been mentioned as replacements for Massimilano Allegri.

"At this moment in time it will probably be left to Allegri to lead the side out of this situation," said Zambrotta.

"For the future, though, I think Inzaghi would be more prepared for the Coach role than Seedorf."
