Zambrotta: AC Milan victories now dedicated to Beckham
Gianluca Zambrotta has told AC Milan teammates to win this season's title for injured teammate David Beckham.
Beckham, on-loan from LA Galaxy, suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon after breaking down in yesterday's victory over Chievo Verona.
Milan fullback Zambrotta said: "It's never nice when a teammate gets hurt, especially in the way it happened to David this evening. Beckham came here because he wanted to help AC Milan to return to the top and tried to regain a jersey for the national team to participate in the World Cup.
"If we continue winning, it will certainly be a dedication to David Beckham."
