Celtic goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska is confident he can become the club's number one gloveman.
The 29-year old Pole is on the verge of signing a new Hoops contract and wants to celebrate that by becoming a first team regular under Neil Lennon.
"My agent is coming over to discuss a new contract," he said.
"I still have a year left but it is obviously nice to know that the club want to keep me.
"I still think I can be Celtic's No1 and I'll look to do that this season. It is great news that the manager has signed a new contract. He has the respect of every player."
Zaluska spent most of last season as back-up to Newcastle United loanee Fraser Forster and has made just 14 league appearances since joining from Dundee United in 2009.
