Bologna striker Marcelo Zalayeta concedes he's had a difficult time with their fans this season.
The Uruguay international struck in their crucial win over Palermo and hopes the goal is enough to win back the fans' support.
Asked about his response to the fans, Zalayeta replied: "It was a little for the people who whistled at me.
"Sure, it's normal, they can do what they want. I was insulted. I certainly heard the whistles. There has been criticism of my performances, but there is criticism for everything.
"Hopefully, next time I score, I'll celebrate under the Curva."
