Zaccheroni convinced Juventus returning to best form

Juventus coach Alberto Zaccheroni feels they're back to their best after consecutive wins during the week.

The Bianconeri are unbeaten since Zac took charge and are fresh from two consecutive victories over Genoa and Ajax.

Zaccheroni's team face Bologna today and he said: "Since I arrived we have always had to face teams who are on fine form. Aside from Lazio, who were going through a tough time, we met Livorno, Genoa and Ajax.

"Now Bologna are in great shape, having drawn with Verona and Milan, while they won away to Fiorentina and Livorno.

"Franco Colomba has done very well to understand the squad at his disposal and make the most of them."

Juventus are now in sixth place, but only a point off Napoli and Sampdoria in joint fourth.

"Over the past three weeks we have got a bit more breathing space and are back in the group fighting for prestigious positions.

"However, the competition is fierce and we cannot afford to relax. The fixture list is also tough, as we have most of the top games away from home. At least it'll show us if we're mature enough to play the same way at home and on our travels.

"I have always been optimistic, as I know I have a solid squad at my disposal. You could see in Amsterdam that my players are united and agree with my philosophy of football.

"I don't have time to build the team I have in mind, as at the moment just winning is enough. In the next few weeks I'd like to see more players at my disposal."
