Pablo Zabaleta says Manchester City are proving they can dig in and win games against desperate teams.

The Argie hailed the manner of their gritty 1-0 win at Aston Villa last week.

"We know we have to win all the games away especially against teams from the middle and the bottom," he told the Manchester Evening News.

"And sometimes that is really hard because they play very strong, or with long balls.

"The key is to win all of these games. The top teams in the Premier League all drop points, but the most important thing in winning the title is to win the games against these teams."
