Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta says he is excited about the impending arrival of Alvaro Negredo.
The Spanish striker is soon set to join City from Sevilla and Zabaleta can't wait to see him in action after having to mark him on a few occasions when with Espanyol.
"Negredo is someone I've played against - he's a good striker," the Argentina international said. "A typical number nine. I'd say he is similar to Edin Dzeko, a tall player.
"He works very well inside the box or drops deep to receive the ball when he has to."
He added: "He's scored many goals every season in Spain. He did well at Almeria and Sevilla.
"If he's the one we bring in then it will be because the manager has 100 per cent confidence about him and I would expect him to do well."
