The agent of Pablo Zabaleta admits the Espanyol midfielder's contract talks remain deadlocked.

The Argentine is entering the final year of his current deal and his agent, Marcelo Arguello, said: "We have not currently received any offer. We are in the same situation as before.

"For now, everything has stopped."
