Celtic forward Paul McGowan has revealed he has signed a new two-year contract. The 22-year-old has committed his future to the club despite having yet to play competitively since Tony Mowbray's sacking as manager last month.
McGowan, who played in Wednesday night's 2-1 friendly defeat by AZ Alkmaar, told the BBC: "I have signed a new contract for two years on Wednesday there, so I was delighted to get that sorted.
"I worked with Neil (Lennon) before and got on with him well.
"Obviously, Tony Mowbray was starting to take a liking to me and then the sacking came, but that's football."
