FC Dallas' first player to win a professional contract from the youth development system, Bryan Leyva, is on the verge of making his senior team MLS debut.

The 18-year old Mexican-born youngster has been included in Dallas' 18 man squad for Thursday night's clash with LA Galaxy for the first time, indicating he is extremely close to making the meteoric rise from youth development player to senior squad member.

Leyva is a regular in Mexico's junior national teams and last summer earned a spot on the US Soccer Development Academy Central Conference Best XI.
