The Australian U20 team for the upcoming ASEAN Football Federation tournament in Vietnam has been named.
A 20-man squad for the July 24 competition has been announced by Football Federation Australia which will see the Young Socceroos pitted against Vietnam, Korea Republic and Thailand.
New A-League club Melbourne Heart had four players (Eli Babalj, Kamal Ibrahim, Brendan Hamill and Kilment Taseski) selected in the side delighting head coach John van 't Schip.
"The Club is delighted with the selection of Kliment, Brendan, Eli and Kamal to the Young Socceroo squad for the upcoming tournament in Vietnam," he said.
"Developing the next generation of Australian footballers and providing a pathway to the world's top leagues is an important aspect of the Melbourne Heart FC philosophy."
