Young loving life with QPR

QPR defender Luke Young admits he is loving life with his new club.

The 32-year old returned to London in the summer when he departed Aston Villa for the R's and he is enjoying the fact that he is again playing regular first team football.

Young kicked off his professional career with Tottenham in 1997 before heading to Charlton Athletic four years later and then eventually got out of the capital for a move to Middlesbrough in 2007.

After a year or so and three with Villa, the former England international is back in London and loving his football.

"I'm enjoying myself here and I'm enjoying the challenge," Young told the club's official website.

"I had three years at Aston Villa and just felt I was coming to the stage in my career where I needed to get my teeth into something.

"Coming down here has given me a new lease of life.

} "I really want to do well here - and for us to progress as a team and stay in the Premier League first and foremost."
