Young Lions scored a solid 2-0 win over Balestier Khalsa in the S.League overnight. Yang Mu netted his first goal in Young Lions colours in the 64th minute to wrap up the contest after Irwan Shah earlier scored the opener after the half-hour mark.

It was the first time the Lions had scored more than one goal in a match this season and sees them jump to seventh on the table.
