Manchester United will try again for Aston Villa winger Ashley Young in the summer. The People says Villa boss Gerard Houllier will resist all attempts to snatch Young, who scored twice in yesterday's 4-1 hammering of Blackburn.
But it's believed the chance to win honours and play regular Champions League football will open the way for a move to Old Trafford.
Young, 25, cost £8m from Watford four years ago and, despite missing out on the 2010 World Cup squad, is now seen by Fabio Capello as one of the next generation of England stars.
