Wellington Phoenix youngster Tyler Boyd has signed a contract with Portuguese club Vitoria SC.
The 20-year old New Zealand international striker has penned a four-year deal with the Guimaraes outfit who compete in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
Boyd, who came through Wellington's Football School of Excellence, will link up with Vitoria once his contract with the 'Nix expires at the end of the current A-League campaign.
Of the move, Phoenix head coach Ernie Merrick said: "We have known for some time that Tyler wanted to play in Europe and I wish him all the best for the future."
This season, Boyd has made four appearances for Wellington which have yielded two goals, both of which came in the 3-1 win over Adelaide United in late December.
