Ashley Young says he can handle Manchester United's new diamond formation.
Young, 27, who joined United from Aston Villa for £17.5m in 2011, is struggling to establish himself as a regular this term.
But Young said: "I'm a versatile player and can operate in a number of different positions, so I'm comfortable with whatever formation the manager picks. I think that's the same for quite a few of the players at this club. We are able to adapt easily."
But he added: "When I was at Villa, I barely missed a match so I've found being out difficult to take."
