Australian U20 World Cup player James Virgili and Victorian youngster Evan Batsis are spending two weeks with the famous Glasgow Celtic Football Club.
Virgili and Batsis arrived in Glasgow for a two-week experience with Celtic at their new training headquarters at Lennox Town. On Saturday both players and their fathers will be in the stands at Celtic Park watching the Hoops take on St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premier League.
Virgili is a midfielder who plays for the Newcastle Jets and has represented Australia at the FIFA Under 20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009.
Batsis is a product of the Victorian Institute of Sport. He is a striker with great pace and strong bustling qualities that saw him identified by Melbourne Victory youth coach and former Australian international Mehmet Durakovic and added to the Victory youth set up in 2009.
