Yokohama Marinos midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura expects to be fit to represent Japan in an international friendly tonight.

The 31-year old former Celtic star limped out of Yokohama's 2-1 J-League loss to league leaders Shimizu S-Pulse on the weekend but he is confident he will be fine for the World Cup warm-up clash with Serbia at the Saitama Stadium.

"It's not as bad as I thought," Nakamura told Nikkan Sports newspaper. "There is still some pain there but I think I'll be ready by game time."
